Royal Berkshire Wedding - Nikki and Rob

The Wedding industry is such a fun one to work in, we get to meet and work with so many fabulous suppliers. We have worked with Nigel Worsfield Toastmaster Extraordinaire a couple of times and enjoyed his company in the downtime whilst the guests are enjoying their wedding breakfast. Nigel wasn’t able to be the Toastmaster for their wedding, however, he very kindly recommended us to Nikki and Rob for their big day at The Royal Berkshire.

When we deliver a completed wedding gallery to our bridal couples, we always put them into separate folders, Anticipation, Ceremony, Details, Reception, Photo Shoot and Group Photos - this is just a small selection of images that would be included in each gallery…

Nikki got ready at her parents home, in a beautiful calm environment with her parents and best friends / bridesmaids. There was a real calmness and serenity in the home which made it easy for us to set up some lovely shots of her dress and flowers as well as the bridal prep shots of hair and make-up which was expertly and naturally done by Lauren Smith.

Rob & Nikki’s Ceremony was held at St Michael and All Angel’s Church in Sunninghill a very friendly, warm and welcoming church and the service was very personal to the couple which we loved. We captured Rob and his groomsmen meeting and greeting guests and met the sweet little bridesmaids who were Rob’s nieces and had the very important job of carrying the confetti! We were able to fly the drone here too and get some aerials of the church and the congregation after the service which always adds a great birds-eye view in the wedding gallery. We suggested we take a couple of family group shots at the church after the ceremony and then the remaining group shots at the Royal Berkshire whilst the drinks and canapés were being served on the lawns.

Rob and Nikki arrived at the Royal Berkshire in style in a beautiful vintage Bentley and were welcomed by Toastmaster Tim Lewis, who was standing in for our friend Nigel to keep the proceedings timely and orderly! He did a great job! Drinks and canapés were served on the lawns and Nikki and Rob had even organised a 9 hole mini golf course because of course what groom wants to give up his Saturday golf plans even on his wedding day?!

After the formal group photos, we enjoyed a wander around the beautiful gardens of the Royal Berkshire and had fun capturing bridal portraits of our new husband and wife, This is always such a lovely time for them, as we try to keep this session as unposed and natural as possible, with just a few instructions to assist with getting mantlepiece worthy pictures!

Love is in the details! The Reception rooms at The Royal Berkshire are so well laid out and full of beautiful natural afternoon light which, as a photographer, we highly appreciate! Just look at all the lovely attention to detail and thoughtfulness that was put into the flowers and table decor for their wedding reception! Rob & Nikki are keen travellers and they named each table after one of their favourite travel destinations

congratulations if you are newly engaged and getting married - we hope this gallery of a real wedding at the royal berkshire shows how we tell the story of your day. please do contact us to chat about how we can tell your wedding story!
