Best Berkshire Wedding Venues 2023

Oh we do love going to new wedding venues and when our brides and grooms share with us their hidden (and sometimes not so hidden but we just hadn’t shot there before) gems. These are our top 10 wedding venues in Berkshire and we are looking forward to working at these gorgeous venues again this year! Of course we love a venue that allows us to fly our drone so we can get spectacular aerials to add to the wedding gallery, and we may be a little biased but all of these lovely Berkshire Venues allow us to fly! So here they are …in no particular order of favourites…

  1. Easthampstead Park

Sharon & Will had a stunning outdoor wedding ceremony at Easthampstead Park following a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and pre-wedding Chinese games. Easthampstead Park is a fabulous Berkshire venue located between Bracknell and Wokingham and nestled in acres and acres of stunning parkland and grounds that make for just beautiful wedding portraits! they have lots of options for indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies and reception areas…

2. The Royal Berkshire Hotel

Nikki and Rob were married in their local church and then held their wedding reception at the Royal Berkshire. The Royal Berkshire is one of our favourite venues, again, because they have so much flexibility with spaces, indoor and out for your wedding ceremony and reception. We do love a venue with a garden, and the gardens at the Royal Berks are magnificents - with wild flower meadows in the spring and their traditional sunken garden - there are so many lovely spots and backdrops for your wedding portraits.

3. Cowarth Park

Ok so you can see a bit of a pattern starting to evolve here - gorgeous gardens and lots of grounds for us to get beautiful bridal portraits and create stunning cinematic wedding videos! Aisling and Laurie were married at Cowarth Park with a very small, intimate ceremony and wedding breakfast at this stunning venue. Again, glorious grounds for us to get beautiful portraits and of course get some spectacular aerials!

4. Waddesdon Manor

The Dairy at Waddesdon is just pure magic. Jakki and Karyn’s wedding day was a truly joyous occasion with their close family and friends celebrating the day with them - they had their ceremony on the terrace overlooking the lake and then their reception in the Winter Garden. This venue has so much character and the gardens are the perfect backdrop for bridal portraits.

5. West Wycombe

Now this was a true surprise for us! We have been in Maidenhead since 2000 and filmed and photographed weddings all over Berkshire over the past 22 years and 2022 was the first time we had ever set foot (or eyes) on these GORGEOUS grounds! Jennie and Dave were our bride and groom and they treated us to this magical wedding - we loved every minute and we can’t wait to return - there are gardens galore and so many photo opportunities - it is a wedding photographers paradise! It’s also a film makers dream - we spotted it when we were watching an episode of Peripheral!

6. Cantley House

We love the team at Cantley House - they are an absolute pleasure to work with, and they will ensure you have the very best day. Alice and Jack were married in the Oak Room and then had a drinks reception in the gardens whilst we took some family and group photos. They even had a pair of llamas arrive - because as Alice said - What wedding is truly complete without llamas?! and then partied the night away in the Barn. It is a superb exclusive use wedding venue.

7. Danesfield House

Not strictly in Berkshire, but literally a stones throw from us nestled between Henley and Marlow, is this very grand wedding venue. With a sweeping driveway up to the entrance, you really will feel like Cinderella arriving to marry her prince charming! Megan and Joe were married in their local church and then enjoyed cocktails and canapes on the terrace with breathtaking views followed by a lavish wedding breakfast in the gorgeous Versailles Suite.

8. Oakley Court

Kirsty and Darren had an amazing celebration for their wedding at Oakley Court - it was full of love and a very big party of family and friends - a stunning venue with riverside grounds which make for an amazing backdrop for your bridal portraits.

9. Sheepdrove Organic Farm

If you are looking for a rural setting for your wedding - look no further than Sheepdrove Organic Farm - it is absolutely beautiful, set within a twenty acre estate of scenic gardens and natural meadows that include an aromatic herb garden, ancient oak woodland and a long lake with pontoon and boathouse. Sean and Sophie were married here on a glorious blue sky sunshiny day…

10. Windsor Guildhall

Location, Location, Location! We love shooting at Windsor Guildhall - it is the hallowed halls where King Charles and the Queen Consort were married, so we feel like royalty ourselves when shooting here! Rebecca and Dan were married at the Guildhall and then had their reception across the road at the Windsor Castle Hotel.
