Matterport 3D Mapping
We have a new fabulous piece of kit in our real estate photography tool box - the Matterport! This amazing piece of technology allows us to come and photograph a property in a matter of hours and produce an incredible high resolution 3D Scan of your property, allowing potential buyers to literally walk through the space online (or even with a VR Headset!) and visualise themselves living / working / being in that space - adding that sense of attachment that you just can't get with 2D photography - even the best HD photography. We anticipate that his type of technology will become the standard for real estate agents to show houses in the future. It’s right in line with the way people search for things online before they make huge decisions like buying their next home.
Home buyers love it because they can walk through the home whilst seated in front of their desktop or laptop, it saves them time endlessly driving around looking for the perfect home, and, once they've found 'the one' they have a real understanding of the layout and connection with the space. Real Estate agents love it because it saves them time by only showing the property to keen potential buyers, and the sellers love it because they only have to have the house pin-sharp-tidy the once and not have to rush around making the house show-home-standard for every show round!
