Fred & Sarah's Lillibrooke Manor Wedding

We have never, in our 20+ years of filming and photographing weddings, met a more excited bride! All of our brides are, of course, naturally very excited, but Sarah was literally bursting at the seams (luckily not her wedding dress seams!) she came running out of her house in her bridal pyjamas to come and meet us and we instantly felt like part of the family! Sarah and her bridesmaids had stayed the night prior to the wedding at her parents beautiful home and her Dad might’ve mentioned that he heard and saw things he couldn’t unsee! It was a very relaxed morning and after hair and make up, they had some portraits in the garden before they set off to Lillibrooke Manor.

We filmed Sarah and Fred’s wedding (our very first wedding) at Lillibrooke Manor last weekend, and, the bizarre thing is, we lived across the farm from Lillibrooke Manor for 6 years and it took us moving to Dubai to get to film a wedding here! What a great venue it is too - we thoroughly enjoyed the layout, the grounds for photos were lovely and the staff were super friendly and efficient. Their ceremony was held in the barn which was beautifully decorated with a floral arch at the front and bright colourful bunting (all lovingly made by Sarah’s mom) adorning the walls. They read their own personal vows to one another and Fred battled to keep his eyes dry!

As Lillibrooke Manor is so close to White Waltham aerodrome, we have to ask permission to fly the drone and they give us a window of opportunity which was helpful for capturing the confetti and then a big group shot in front of the manor house - until Derek, trying to get the optimal wide shot, flew the drone backwards into a tree!! He’s never done that before either, so there were quite a few firsts for us at this wedding! Luckily the drone came off unscathed and we managed to get some lovely aerials to add to the video. Here is a highlights video showing off Fred and Sarah’s lovely day!

This is a real wedding by husband and wife team Derek and debbie of Press PLay - if you would like us to capture your wedding story with bright, natural video and photography, please do drop us an email.
